There are glass vivariums or terrariums and commercially designed cages you can catch, or home built wooden enclosures depending on your skill level. There is also the option of buying a plastic swimming pool which can be adapted for your tortoise.
If you do determine however, on a glass tortoise vivarium you should cloak three sides of the case with either some cloth on the outside or paper or cardboard. This will provide some privacy for the tortoise and he will be great happier and more yell.
You could for the best of both worlds have a tortoise vivarium to showcase your prized pet for a few hours but also have another more practical enclosure where he can expend the majority of his time?
